New York is such an amazing city that if you haven't been already then you have to go, but if you have been, then go again! New York lives up to its reputation as one of the most cosmopolitan cities on the planet. There's so much to see and do in New York that it's hard to list even the most obvious of its attractions.
Visit the Empire State Building and experience the incredible views from the top or visit the Statue of Liberty. Central Park is perfect to relax in either while strolling or having a picnic. Go to see Madison Square Gardens, the Rockefeller Centre, Carnegie Hall, Times Square, the Village, SoHo, 5th Avenue, St. Patrick's Cathedral…. The list is endless. If Broadway interests you then make sure to catch one of the shows there.

While the city is awash with fantastic restaurants, here are a couple of restaurants that we’d recommend. Houston’s Restaurant and Home Restaurant are two that you must visit, as they come highly recommended.
If you’re looking for an Irish bar in New York, then we recommend Paddy Reilly's Bar. The craic is mighty and they’ve got Guinness on tap – so it’s perfect if you’re feeling a bit homesick. There are many other bars in New York, so it’s very difficult to pick some of the best.
Even when things are full price in New York it's still amazing value – however if there’s sales on then you could save 50%, 60% or even 70%! Department stores include Bloomingdales and Macys, so make sure to visit these. For designer gear pay a visit to Saks in Fifth Avenue. The list of shops in New York is endless, and listing them out is impossible.
For something off the wall head down to the SoHo area and the Village - it's where everything alternative is on offer from clothes to shoes to food, so if alternative is what you’re interested in this is where you should go!
